How to manage comments on your blog?

A friend of mine is asking about it just this morning but since I was too busy at my work I was not able to reply back to her so I decided to post an article about managing the comments on your blog. I'm posting this to help new bloggers as well. So, here it goes...

Easy Steps to Manage Comments on your blog.

1. Log in to your blogger's account then on your dashboard click the layout tab.
2. Once you are already at the layout page, you can see the settings tab on the left side of the layout tab located on the upper left portion of your layout page.
3. Then click the settings tab
4. From settings page you can see different tab like Basic, Publishing, Formatting, Comments, Archiving, Site Feed, OpenID and Permissions. Each tab has different functions and you can explore it later. For the meantime, just click the Comments tab.
5. From comments tab you can select either to show or hide the comments. You can also manage who are the person can post a comment on your blog. You can also define the comment form placements and a lot more.
6. If you want to review first the comments before it appear on your blog you can choose the Comment moderation to Always which means that you will first review all incoming comments before publishing it.

So that's it. I hope I make it simple for you to easily follow the instruction and I hope I was able to help you.

Nice info. How to delete a comment that already published?

I leave for all people the right to share their point of view that's why there is no comment moderation on my blog. But if I see that the comment is rude and doesn't suit the rules of etiquette I delete it myself.
