Facts about Mesothelioma

A friend of mine asked me if I knew something about Mesothelioma. I don't know what to say since I really have no idea about it.  I was intrigued as well because I have been hearing about it but never really bothered what it means.  I am not into medical world but I know where to find the meaning of it.  I first thought of asking hon-hon since he is the one belongs to medical world but since he has work and I could really bother him I just resort to internet.  Anyway, it is just a click away.

According to what I read, Mesothelioma is a rare  kind of cancer which develops from the protective linings that covers many of the body's internal organs.  The common site of the body where Mesothelioma can be seen present are the outer lining of the lungs and internal chest wall.  This can also be seen at the lining of the abdominal cavity, the sac surrounding the heart or at the tunica vaginalis.  The common symptoms of this include the fatigue, anemia, blood in the cough, shortness of breath due to the fluid between the lungs and the chest wall.  Chest pain and weight loss are also one of the symptoms of Mesothelioma.

If you think you have one of those symptoms, it is better to consult your doctor.  It is better to be really be aware of this so that you can take some necessary action before it get worse.  Health is wealth and so we really have to take care of it.
